The Ghost Hunter's Society is an independent research team dedicated to scientifically investigating and documenting paranormal phenomenon such as hauntings, poltergeists, apparitions, ghost lights, E.V.P (electronic voice phenomenon) and other claims of the paranormal.

Established in 1994 by founder and president Michael Komen, G.H.S. has investigated many allegedly haunted locations in and around the Illinois area including private homes, cemeteries and businesses.

We have worked with students from the University of Illinois psychology department, Purdue University, the Fox Family Channel, CBS 44 (Indiana), ABC 25 (Indiana), The Courier Press (Indiana),  CLTV news, UNKNOWN Magazine, WTMX 101.9 FM radio (Chicago), WEBR Radio (Virginia) author of "Chicago Haunts" Ursula Bielski and many other research groups with similar interests. We have also been guest speakers at Barnes and Noble as well as Borders Books on topics of the paranormal.
